Welcome to Rockin’ Deals! My name is Amy and I live with my husband, Dave and 3 year old son, Jace in Southern Indiana.

My frugal journey started about 3 years ago, after the birth of our adopted son, Jace. Mostly to help off set the cost of diapers, wipes and formula.

I have been finding lots of great deals and wanted a place for my family and friends to read about them, too. So, Rockin’ Deals was established on March 16, 2010. Thanks to the help of some amazing fellow bloggers, I am able to get word out about Rockin’ Deal’s existence and…I’ve now found all of you!

While I do share personal tidbits here and there, the main goal of this blog is to help everyone save money by finding great deals, freebies or even transform their current shopping/spending habits.

Why name my blog Rockin’ Deals?

Well…My son loves to play Guitar…well any musical insturment and always seems to be rocking out some kinda of (“So-called”) music. And since I’m on this journey because of him, I only thought it right to name by blog Rockin’ Deals. He even made up a little tune about Rockin’ Deals, he walks around the house singing it!

Couponing should NOT be frowned upon! I want to show everyone… especially the younger generation that saving money and using coupons is Rockin’!

Being smart with your money doesn’t mean missing out. You can spend your money on quality products and test out products by getting free samples. Having fun is important too!
