Every year we get a fun catalog for Halloween Costumes and Jace loves to spend hours just looking at the fun costumes and dream about what he wants to be. That catalog is from Halloween Express! So when I was able to do a review for them I was so excited.
I worked at a local daycare for 13 years and I loved Halloween time. Many years I would go to the local Costume shop and rent a full body costume just to wear at the daycare for the kids. So I’m excited this year since I’m working as a Preschool assistant, I’ll get to dress up again!!
I wanted to find a costume that would be something I could wear for years and both boys and girls would enjoy it. So I started looking at the Pirate costumes on Halloween Express.
I decided to go with this awesome Pirate’s Wench Adult Costume. I was very impressed when it arrived at my house. It comes in a long Garment bag. And it looked so great! This costume includes a deep red panne and white satin mid length dress, gold trimmed lace up black vinyl vest, tulle petticoat, black and white striped satin sash and bandana, as well as a jeweled choker.
Everything fits great except for the Vinyl vest. It seems to run a little smaller then the dress does, but it might also be that I’m a little bigger on top them most.
Here I am in the costume. I feel like the petticoat underneath makes me look fat on the bottom. But that part is removable so I’m going to go with out it on Halloween. I couldn’t get my husband to do a retake on the photo…he thought I was crazy standing outside dressed as a pirate as cars drove by! LOL Argg…I would have made them walk the plank if they laughed at me!
What was super was that after I signed up for my account and had put something in my shopping cart, I let it to think about it over night. The next day I ended up with an email from Halloween Express giving me 20% off my order! Which was great! But even with out that coupon I had already found a few HOT coupons for % off. They also offer a Free shipping. My order ended up coming about 3 days sooner then it told me it would be here. Which I thought was super since it was FREE shipping in the first place!
