The Steps4Kids to Write Modern Manuscript is the third award winning instructional handwriting DVD brought to you by the Steps4Kids team. I was excited to receive this DVD for my son. He’s very interested in learning to write his letters. He can already write a few of them, but doesn’t have it down pat yet. With the help of this great video, I have no worries that he will soon be doing it great! Steps4Kids has helped him learn were to start and stop and start his letters. I loved that it had verbal cues and simple visual demonstrations. They even take little drawing breaks that use the letters to make things like animals.
Plus since my son is left handed I’m glad that it talked about had to avoid “left handed wrap”. As Lucile, the co-founder of Steps4Kids, told me President O’bama is a good example of this! And since I’m right handed it’s hard for me to show my son the right way to write all his letters. (It even goes over posture!)
This item is prefect for any child from Pre- K and up. It can help older children work on writing clearer. Any teacher would love it in her class room!
